Your favourite Legend of Zelda games?
« on: January 24, 2012, 05:28:08 PM »
When there's so many games to choose from, which are your favourites?

Personally mine are a toss-up between Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time. With The Wind Waker coming in close third.
These are out of the games I've played anyway.

Ocarina of Time is my favorite 3D Zelda.  Link to the Past is my favorite top down Zelda.  Skyward Sword is a great third place as it actually explained a lot of the story and added a lot of RPG to the game.

Also Majora's mask was great, but the saving system and 3 days really didn't help it very much.  It was fun, but was such a chore every 3 days.

I did love that Skyward Sword added Bioware-style choice mechanics to the game, sure it wasn't quite light and dark side. But it was fun to choose between that douchebag getting rejected, or stalked by some ghost hand lady.

You have my permission to burn in hell. Or play a Zelda game. Either of the two work.

Majora's Mask, followed by Minish Cap and Wind Waker.

Ocarina of Time is a close fourth, and I haven't really played Skyward Sword yet, so I can't pass judgment on that.

I love Majora's Mask mostly because of the depth of the sidequests, and how all these people in Clock Town have their own schedules and lives and stuff. I just think that's kinda deep.
Swaggin it up, yeah

I remember telling myself that I wouldn't finish the game until I had finished every side quest and received every mask. :P Same with almost every Zelda game, I have to finish all the side quests and get ALL THE THINGS.

I have started a playthrough of the original The Legend of Zelda for NES.

I must redeem myself.

Sadly I only have an xbox 360 controller to play it with, no USB classic NES. :(

Awesome :D The one thing I never understood about the original was that you threw your sword xD
