I kinda of agree with Astindan's view. Minecraft doesn't need anything more added to it, in fact Minecraft was good when it was in classic, and when they started really working on the game it became great, the problem with most video games today is that game developers feel the need to add too much crap to games that don't need it.

Why can't we just have a nice simple game where you just get to build stuff and explore and have fun for once in a while?

Now if your suggesting they should polish it and work to get rid of remaining bugs, then that is fine, just no more features. (Maybe a few features once in a while when they come up, but not too much.)

^ This, except survival was more of a "Xpac" for I enjoy survival more than classic. 

What they need to do is focus on just polishing the game after each big update rather than adding new things and making the game feel a bit more clunky.

I would rather that in the next update in which they include new stuff, they add more building materials... like redstone... and redstone...
