Zamros never changes.  Theres always something to rant about.
Oh don't get me started...

God, what the fuck. I read that he wrote them start to finish. Also, I saw the script for Episode III when I was like 7, my dad got a hold of it somehow. I don't know. I didn't really pay attention to the annoyances.
That's probably because you were 7. Most children don't have the concept of critical thinking yet.
I was 11 or 12 when Episode III so maybe. I haven't seen it for a while.

Also the bacteria in Episode 1 they mentioned, allowed you to sense the force, they weren't the force.

Anyways, nothing beats Revan

They said it was the thing that connects us with the force. The force is meant to be some all powerful thing that surrounds and penetrates EVERYONE. Bacteria count shouldn't fucking play into it. It's why Han Solo and Leia and hear Luke when he uses the force to speak with them. If it were down to bacteria, then they wouldn't be able to hear him. I dunno, maybe they bathed their ears in Midi-whatsits.

MEDICLORIANS!
Whatever. Me and a friend discussed that in George Lucas' next special features additions, he changes mediclorians into miniature ninjas that pick up the stuff you force grab and stuff like that. Would be better writing than bacteria >.<

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

I just finished an Indiana Jones marathon with a friend, rewatching 1, 2 and 3. We ended it with me watching Kingdom of the Crystal Skull for the first time in my life, and...

I honestly do not understand why this movie gets the amount of slack that it does. I think it's an unfortunate case of people parroting opinions (Not trying to step on anyones toes here, but too many of the people I encounter trash-talking this movie seem pretty clueless... Most of them). People say that the refrigerator scene is too far out, people say that the whole Alien thing is too far out.

...

Did these people even watch the old Indiana Jones movies? I mean for Pete's sake, in the Temple of Doom, a guy reaches his hand into another mans chest, rips out his heart and yet the other man is still alive and his chestwound instantly heals. That's not far out for these people?

I will agree that it is not as good as the older ones, it doesn't have that mystique about it, nor that old eighties movie charm, but it gets too much hate. More than it deserves.

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace

The Phantom Menace is probably the worst of the Star Wars movies, JarJar Binks and Jake Lloyd do not help this one bit. I will say though, the lightsaber duel between Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul is really good.

That scene, along with the pod-racing scene are the saving graces of the The Phantom Menace.

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones

Attack of the Clones does a better job of keeping the movie interesting throughout and luckily, is less dumb and has less slap-stick humour than The Phantom Menace, which is a good thing.

The only thing that ruins this movie for me is Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman. Their acting (Especially Hayden Christensen) is laughably bad in this movie and I feel like skipping their scenes together most of the time.

Pretty much all of the combat scenes in this movie are really well done though, Clone Troopers are badass.

Star Wars: Episode III - The Revenge of the Sith

Revenge of the Sith is my favourite of the prequels and is actually in the top three of Star Wars movies in my own little head-list (Number 2 being "A New Hope" and Number 1 being "The Empire Strikes Back").

Hayden Christensen and Natalie Portman have stepped up their acting game in this movie and are more tolerable (I still don't enjoy watching their scenes, however). The final encounter with Obi-Wan and Anakin (Entitled "Duel of the Fates" I believe) is spine-chillingly good and probably the best lightsaber fight scene in the entire Star Wars saga.

The Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Remake

Never watched it.

Transformers

I enjoyed the first Transformers movie. Not much else to say, I thought it was really good all round, the only annoyance being the female co-lead, who for some reason always have to be a terrible actor in these American movies.

The sound for the transformers is goddamn amazing too "WUBWUBWUBWUBWOMP", in the good way!

Transformers 2

Agreed. I thought this movie was pretty bad in general, the female co-lead hadn't improved at all.

Transformers 3

I also liked Transformers 3, I thought it was a great movie. Not the best movie I had ever seen, but certainly better than Transformers II and up to scratch with the initial one. Didn't mind this ending to the series (Although I've heard rumors that they're rebooting it, say what?).

George Lucas' influence on EVERYTHING

Yeah... Pretty much. I can't wait until he passes away (Without trying to sound like a cynical bitch, god knows the internet has enough of those), but when the rights for Star Wars goes to someone else, hopefully we can get some quality content out there...

And less reboots.

I'm sure you can all agree.

Somewhat.

Allow me to throw in my two cents on this list. My thoughts will be posted in green.

The lightsaber fights in the prequels I must say are a lot more epic. But they lack the emotion and drive behind them that each character has. (For example when Luke begins wailing on Vader when he's angered, compared to when Obi Wan just goes into more choreographed bullshit with Maul). Also lightsabers are on screen every seven seconds in the prequels. To me this ruined what I thought was cool about them, because everyone seemed to have one and brought them out at every second. For example the Arena scene in Clones where all the Jedi descended with billions of lightsabers, cutting through pointless enemies just because Lucas thought it looked cool and provided no emotion in it.

The thing that annoyed me with Indiana Jones 4, the big thing that changed for me in it is

1) The lack of deaths, Indy only kills one dude in this one. In the Temple of doom he takes out 11 at once!
2) The Alien, the whole point of Indiana Jones films as far as I'm concerned (Plot wise not content wise) is the magic and mystery. Having an Alien just seems like the writer though "Eh, I'll just make it an Alien because why the hell not?" It's not that it was an Alien, it was that there was no point to said Alien and it just seemed that they put it in for added CGI bullshit.
3) The writing was really lazy at points. The British guy's character (That just came out of nowhere, that I really didn't care about. Hell, his character is so strong I can't remember his name) had less emotion than a potato. Also, do you really think after finding out that Mutt is his son, Indy let's out some crap lines that are extremely cringe worthy.
4) The characters, most of the characters in this were given random abilities just so they had something to do. Marion for example just drove a lot. Mutt magicly announced he was taught fencing, even though sword fighting and fencing are pretty different if you have tried both (Which I have). This once again comes down to lazy writing, they all are given something to do because the script-writer couldn't think of any character for them. Hell, Marion retained barely any of the characteristics of her character in the first film, aside from the line she says when she sees Indy. Also, they brought in TONS of characters that I really didn't care about, with little explanation, because they lacked character and where just there to fill a pointless void. I'll give Mutt his bone, but he is basically a Young Indy.
